sparked more debate, raised questions and provoked several
reactions, some of which relate to the necessity of tithing under the New Covenant.

‘Is tithing necessary?’
‘Was it meant for New Testament believers, or is it strictly for
people under Mosaic laws?’
‘Could it be that it may have been abrogated with the Levitical
laws which were fulfilled when Christ was crucified?’
‘Are we subject to the same curses which the Old Testament
states for not bringing the tithe?’
It is very evident that most people would have stopped paying it had they not been gripped by the fear of curses of Malachi 3:9. People were actually turning away from God because of what they were seeing in the churches. The poor are burdened with financial responsibilities. The pastors are feeding fat on the poor and the vulnerable in their congregation. People are groaning under their slave masters.
That is when it occurred to me that I have to write the truth about the tithe. Though, it was a serious fight of not less than two years. This is because I was just starting out in ministry coupled with the fact that most pastors whose teachings I respect support this doctrine. During these two-years of fight to start this book, God started exposing me to what was happening to Christianity. The churches have become a for profit organizations. You can’t be comfortable in church if you don’t bring your tithe. Pastors giving special attention to the tithing members neglecting the non-tithing ones. Special prayers are offered to those who come to church with their tithe envelope. The sermon is strong against the poor who are not able to pay. Instead of serving the poor, they are robbing them.
This book contains a lot more than just information about the tithe yet the tithe is the focal point that everything else revolves around. In this book, I will attempt to exegete the subject and clarify
the three times where we see that tithing was practiced or mentioned
in the Bible. That is: before the law of Moses, secondly,
as established by the law of Moses and thirdly under the
covenant of grace. I will expose the fraud and lies that surround tithe under the Covenant of Grace.
This is an accumulation of God's words concerning tithing, which will deliver the people of God from those who would make merchandise of them. In today's wealth driven society the people of God have become prey to those who will do and say anything to become wealthy. This book is going to be a weapon against deception and a tool to release many from bondage.
I am not here to give you a secret formula for blessings. My motivation for writing this book is to expose the misconceptions and manipulations being fed to the people of God. My methodology is saturation of the truth. Please take this journey with me. I assure you that if you receive God's truth and implement it, you will be freed from the bondage of lies and those that prey on you due to lack of knowledge.
